The HBO drama, which has been recently renewed for its fifth season, has plenty of supernatural creatures on this season, and the clips show something from each story line that currently needs some wrapping up, but nothing from Sookie. The first clip (below) shows Hoyt packing up Jessica’s things and labeling the box, “For you, monster,” when Lafayette, still possessed, wanders in and tells him to get out of his house, threatening him with a gun, and holding the baby. Hoyt’s chased from his house. Will Jesus be able to do something to help Lafayette soon, or will he be like this longer than everyone would like?Last week on “True Blood,”
Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) received unexpected help from Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) and her lover, the amnesic Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) who vowed to follow him into battle against the deadly witch, Antonia (Fiona Shaw), who has seemingly taken over Marnie’s body for good. And Sookie was shocked to find that her best friend, Tara Thornton (Rutina Wesley) had joined the coven to fight the vampires.Antonia quickly proved to be too powerful for the vampires, as she seemingly enslaved Eric as Sookie was struck down by a bullet while Bill was overcome by the coven. Only Alcide Hervaux’s (Joe Manganiello) intervention may have saved Sookie’s life, but in doing so he betrayed his increasingly paranoid girlfriend, Debbie Pelt (Brit Morgan).HBO is being unusually coy about Sookie’s fate this week, so the first preview clip features Jessica Hamby (Deborah Ann Woll) as she anguishes over her current relationship woes with Hoyt Fortenberry (Jim Parrack) and Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten); which has an unintended affect on Nan Flanagan (Jessica Tuck).
