There was a definite humility about the way he did things and it had to have had an effect on the greatest power forward ever, Tim Duncan. The Admiral had some really outstanding numbers, but you never noticed until the game was over and

that probably suited him best anyway. Classy player. Classy person. Here is Velasco’s top 10 of centers over the three decades.1. Shaquille O’Neal2. Hakeem Olajuwon3. Moses Malone4. David Robinson5. Patrick Ewing6. Dwight Howard7. Alonzo Mourning8. Robert Parish9. Dikembe Mutombo10. Yao MingI know that Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was at the end of his career, but he was still a force for several Lakers teams that won titles. I think he should be ranked ahead of Yao because of that success of his team. But Cheap Kobe Shoes it seems like a pretty complete list and Robinson is pegged about right behind the three players in front of him. Nowitzki’s S&D effort leads Mavs back to finals for first time since 2006 Dirk Nowitzki’s career has been marked by his inability to claim an NBA championship. That’s why he sounded very serious as he reflected on the job still in front of him after Dallas’ 100-96 series-clinching Game 5victory over Oklahoma City Wednesday night in the Western Conference Finals.Nowitzki helped spark a furious fourth-quarter rally, erupting for 26 points and nine rebounds as the Mavericks’ overcame a big deficit for the second straight game to eliminate the Thunder. But even that doesn’t mean much with the NBA Finals starting next week.I was already thinking about the finals, Nowitzki told reporters after the game. This is nice for a day, but we set our goals in October to win it all. We havent done it yet.Nowitzki hit a 3-pointer that put the Mavericks ahead to stay with 1:14 left and sealed the victory with 13.3 seconds left as they qualified for their first trip to the finals since 2006.It feels good to finally go back, Nowitzki said. This time, hopefully we can finish the job.Nowitzki scored nine of his points in the fourth quarter. In the series, he averaged 32.2 points, including 11.8 in the fourth quarter. But their victory over the Thunder still leaves the Maverickswith the biggest goal to accomplish as they reflect on what they’ve missed over the years. It’s been long, Dallas guard Jason Terry told NBA.com.We’ve had to sit back and listen to a lot of critics. We’re still gonna have to listen to the same people until we finish the task. But it’s been long. It’s felt like 10-20 years and it’s only been five.We never talk about the struggle to get back. We only talk about when we do what’s gonna happen. Talk is done now.I never let it go. Anytime I go to sleep. Anytime I lift my arm up I got the

trophy tattooed on me this season. If you my locker, it (the trophy photo) is right there. But for at least a night, it felt good for Nowitzki and the Mavericks to reflect on what they’ve done so far this season even with so much still in front of them.STUDSDallas F Dirk Nowitzki: Went for 26 points, nine rebounds, two assists and was plus-8 in the Mavericks’ series-clinching 100-96 Game 5 victory overOklahoma City.Dallas F Shawn Nike Lebron 9 Marion: Scored 15 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter to help pace the Mavericks’ comeback victory over the Thunder.
