Vostro V130 is made up of robust aluminium and magnesium frame with a 13 inch matte screen. The Intel graphics are integrated in the laptop with a good performing Intel Core i5 U470 CULV processor. 4 GB RAM and 7200 rpm 500 GB hard disk drive is pretty fats and does justice to the storage capacity criteria.

The rear of the laptop shuns away all heat doing a good job. The discrete buttons of the touchpad does a good job along with being multi-touch gestures enabled.

The well-built keyboard is very good and comfortable to use. Amongst its many good points is also counted the mono speaker. It does a better job than one would expect. The 2.0 MP webcam record videos in AVI format and the stills too are fairly decent. The smoothest results are achieved at 640×480 pixels. The video streaming looks great with this laptop.

Drawbacks

The Vostro V130 underperforms greatly in terms of best battery life laptop. It runs for meagre 2 hours and 9 minutes keeping in mind its ultralow voltage CPU.
