Beef stir fry

Beef stir fry is a favorite midweek dinner for the family when it is fantastically combined with their favorite vegetables.  Stir fries can become fabulous and delicious when the combination of beef and vegetables are normally balance and sautéed with a hint of saltiness, sweetness, spiciness and bitterness in it.  By merely cooking a perfect stir fry could garner rave reviews from the family and will encourage repeat performance in the future.

Truthfully, this is the main objective of every household cook that prepares the dinner in the table.  The main concern of every cook in the house is what really makes a dish perfect every time she or he cooks it?  There are only a few factors to consider this.  The freshness of the ingredients, the right amount of saltiness or sweetness or spiciness on it, the very texture of the ingredients that remains crisp tender and the flavor of the sauté that lingers in your taste buds with that aromatic fragrance you can smell throughout your evening.  Well, I might have said so much already, so let us start cooking.
THE BEEF AND GARLIC WITH OYSTER SAUCE STIR FRY: The recipe can yield two servings and is considered a main dish or a full meal. It is fast and easy to prepare where preparation time is only fifteen minutes and cooking time is actually five minutes.

Two hundred fifty grams of sirloin steak, thinly sliced into strips of chunks
One clove of garlic, chopped into small pieces
One small onion, sliced thinly
One small red bell pepper sliced into strips
One small green bell pepper sliced into strips
Three tablespoons of oyster sauce
Four tablespoons of chicken stock or broth
One teaspoon of brown sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
One teaspoon of sesame oil
One piece of Spring onions chopped
Toasted Sesame seeds for garnishing

Start by preparing your ingredients according to the list of ingredients in the recipe.  Measure your condiments precisely to avoid too much saltiness in the dish.  Make sure your ingredients are fresh, but you may use frozen sirloin. If frozen, thaw the sirloin before cutting them into your desired pieces.  It is in preparing your ingredients well and completely that you can perfectly come up with your desired taste.  Be careful in measuring your condiments.

In frying, begin by heating your wok or skillet on high heat over your American stove.  Add oil and swirl to cost the bottom of the wok.

Then add your beef and stir fry for two minutes until the beef strips turn brown.  Remove from the pan to a plate and reserve.

Then reheat your wok and add a little more oil if necessary.  Then add the garlic and the onion and then the peppers and stir them for two minutes.  Then add back the beef to the wok and stir for another thirty seconds.

Add the oyster sauce, the chicken stock, the brown sugar, and stir fry for another two minutes.

Season it with salt and pepper and add the sesame oil before removing it to a plate.

On the plate, garnish the dish with spring onions and sesame seeds.

As an added tip: if you have a bottle of garlic chips, pound it and garnish the dish with the pounded garlic. If you mix the garlic with some salt, you will have garlic salt too.

Enjoy this beef stir fry in your kitchen and have fun too.
